Job Description

The Facilities Attendant is responsible for supporting day-to-day facility operations, ensuring smooth functioning of building systems, and providing assistance in upkeep, maintenance, and workplace services. The role plays a key part in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and support daily operations of office facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety systems, and BMS (Building Management Systems).

Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities in coordination with vendors and contractors.

Ensure timely reporting and resolution of facility-related issues and breakdowns.

Support in maintaining housekeeping standards, pantry services, and office cleanliness.

Provide basic troubleshooting support for equipment such as ACs, lighting, UPS, and access control systems.

Coordinate with the facilities team for office moves, seating arrangements, and space management.

Maintain records of maintenance activities, service reports, and compliance checklists.

Ensure safety and compliance protocols are followed (fire drills, emergency equipment checks, etc).

Assist during events, meetings, or special projects with setup and facility support.

Act as a point of contact for facility-related requests from employees.

Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of basic technical systems: HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and BMS.

Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.

Attention to detail with ability to multitask.

Good communication and teamwork abilities. Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance procedures.
