Facade Project Engineer

Project Engineer Fenestration Location: Navi Mumbai Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview: Oversee engineering and technical aspects of faade systems, including curtain walls, windows, glazing, and other envelope components, ensuring alignment with project specifications, quality standards, and timelines. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams for seamless execution of faade packages. Review and ensure alignment of architectural and structural drawings with faade system requirements. Assist in developing and reviewing shop and fabrication drawings. Provide technical support during design development, material selection, and site execution. Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for approvals, RFIs, and inspections. Monitor compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards. Track progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions. Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates on faade progress and technical matters. Supervise on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of faade systems. Ensure safety procedures are followed during installation and handling of faade elements. Support quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities, including inspections and documentation. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 36 years of relevant experience in faade engineering, installation, or construction. Solid understanding of faade systems such as curtain walls, windows, etc. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and engineering software (e.g., Revit, Rhino, STAAD, or similar). Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple technical aspects simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred: Experience working on high-rise, commercial, or complex faade projects. Knowledge of local building codes and international faade standards (e.g., ASTM, BS, EN). Familiarity with BIM tools and digital design processes.
