Job Description

Location: Bengaluru, India (WFO) - 5 Days a week. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced F5 Administrator with 6+ years of expertise in managing and configuring F5 BIG-IP modules (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM). The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of network protocols (SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) and be proficient in configuring iRules, VIPs, pools, health monitors, and traffic management policies. Experience with automation tools like Ansible and Python for F5 configurations is highly desirable, along with familiarity with F5 BIG-IP deployments in cloud environments. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to optimize application delivery and security. Key Skills: F5 Administration (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM) Network Protocols (SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) F5 Configuration (iRules, VIPs, Pools, Health Monitors, Traffic Management) Automation Tools (Ansible, Python) Cloud Deployments (F5 BIG-IP in cloud environments) Key Responsibilities: • Manage and maintain F5 load balancers and associated security features.• Design, deploy, and optimize F5 environments to ensure high availability and scalability of applications.• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to F5 performance and configuration.• Implement traffic management rules and policies to enhance application performance.• Work closely with network and security teams to integrate F5 solutions into the overall network architecture.• Perform firmware upgrades, patches, and proactive maintenance on F5 devices.• Document and maintain standard operating procedures and technical configurations.• Provide support during high-severity incidents and after-hours support as required. Qualifications & Skills: • 7+ years of experience with F5 administration (LTM, GTM, ASM, APM).• Strong knowledge of network protocols, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS.• Proficiency in configuring iRules, VIPs, pools, health monitors, and traffic management.• Familiarity with automation tools for F5 configuration (e.g., Ansible, Python).• Experience with F5 BIG-IP deployments in cloud environments is a plus.• F5 certifications (e.g., F5 Certified BIG-IP Administrator) are desirable.
