Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

1. Firewall Design and Implementation:

• Design and deploy Palo Alto firewall solutions based on the organization's security requirements.
• Configure and manage Palo Alto firewall policies, rules, and security profiles.

2. Network Security Management:

• Monitor network traffic for security threats and vulnerabilities using Palo Alto's security features.
• Implement intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDPS) using Palo Alto technology.

3. Incident Response:

• Detect and respond to security incidents and breaches promptly.
• Investigate and analyze security events using Palo Alto's logging and reporting tools.

4. Security Policy and Compliance:

• Define and enforce security policies and best practices in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain documentation of security policies, procedures, and configurations.

5. Security Assessment and Optimization:

• Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential risks.
• Optimize Palo Alto firewall configurations for performance and security.

6. Integration and Automation:

• Integrate Palo Alto solutions with other security and network technologies, such as SIEM systems.
• Automate security tasks and processes to improve efficiency.

7. Network Access Control:

• Implement network access control and user authentication mechanisms using Palo Alto's capabilities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing Palo Alto firewall solutions.
• Strong knowledge of network security concepts, protocols, and best practices.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.
• Certifications such as Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) or Palo Alto Networks Certified Security Administrator (PCSA) are highly desirable.
• Proficiency in network and security monitoring tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
