Job Description

Role Overview: As the Export Manager for Bagasse Tableware at BDG Polymers Pvt. Ltd., your primary responsibility is to lead the international sales operations. Your focus will be on expanding the company's presence in key global markets such as Africa, Bhutan, UK, and USA. This role involves identifying and developing business opportunities, managing the end-to-end export process, handling export documentation, collaborating with internal teams, attending international trade events, and building long-term relationships with clients. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the international sales operations for Bagasse Tableware, with a focus on expanding the company's presence in key global markets. - Identify and develop business opportunities to increase export sales. - Manage the end-to-end export process, including coordinating shipments and ensuring timely delivery. - Handle export documentation and ensure compliance with international trade regulations. - Collaborate with internal teams, including production, logistics, and sales, to meet export targets. - Attend international trade events to promote the company's products and services. - Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive repeat business and customer loyalty. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, or a related field (MBA preferred). - 5-10 years of proven experience in export sales, preferably in eco-friendly packaging, disposable tableware, or FMCG. - Strong knowledge of international logistics, export documentation, and INCOTERMS. - Existing network of buyers/importers in Africa, SAARC, or the Middle East would be highly advantageous. - Proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and export software/tools. - Fluency in English is a must, knowledge of French/Swahili is a plus for African trade. - Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
