Export Executive

Job Summary

The Export Executive will be responsible for managing and overseeing all export-related operations, documentation, coordination with internal teams, external agencies, and ensuring smooth, compliant, and timely export shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and verify all export documentation including invoices, packing lists, COO (Certificate of Origin), Bill of Lading, customs documents, etc.
• Ensure compliance with export regulations, DGFT norms, customs requirements, and country-specific import rules.
• Coordinate with CHA for customs clearance.
• Plan, book, and track export shipments via sea, air, or courier.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, transporters, and logistics partners.
• Monitor shipment schedules to avoid delays and ensure timely delivery to international customers.
• Resolve customer queries related to documentation, logistics, or timing.
• Obtain competitive freight quotations from forwarders and shipping lines. Negotiate rates while ensuring service quality.
• Maintain export logs, shipment trackers, documentation files, and statutory records.
• Prepare weekly/monthly export reports, cost sheets, and shipment performance metrics.
• Coordinate for LC documentation, bank submissions, and payments related to export orders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum

  3+ years of hands-on experience

  in export operations.
• Strong knowledge of export documentation, INCOTERMS, customs rules, and international shipping.
• Experience coordinating with CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems.
