Position overview

Boeing India Supply Chain team is currently looking for one Experienced Procurement Coordinator to join their team in Bangalore, India. A successful candidate will understand the importance of collaboration as this position will focus on Supporting Procurement Agents in tasks related to higher-value procurement transactions. Completes procurement responsibilities for low value, non-complex procurements and releases to previously negotiated strategic agreements

Position Responsibilities:

The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Enters data, runs queries, performs updates and edits databases for procurement agents, management and other customers to ensure data integrity and timeliness.
  • Communicate with suppliers, procurement agents and internal customers to identify and resolve issues associated with the procurement cycle such as quotes, billing, contracts lead time and other documentation discrepancies to ensure contractual compliance.
  • Monitor supplier open order status, coordinate with supplier and ensure their committed ship dates are met.
  • Collects, organizes, edits and provides data from various databases to procurement agents and management to effectively evaluate processes and performance within the procurement cycle.
  • Gathers documentation (e.g., drawings, specifications, statements of work) from various data sources and send to suppliers, in order to define contractual requirements.
  • Schedules and organizes meetings, records and distributes meeting minutes and agendas, processes and files forms and documentation and performs other administrative tasks, to assist in the efficiency of procurement operations.
  • Prepares customer specific charts and reports for procurement agents and management to support analysis and management of procurement elements such as supplier cost, delivery and quality.

Typical Education & Experience:

A graduate is defined as three years degree or greater, in the mathematics, science, business administration or commerce field of study. 7 to 11 years of experience in procurement, SCM and relevant fields.
