Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bhopal for an Experienced Medical Coder specializing in Cardiology and Neurology within the US healthcare system. The Medical Coder will be responsible for accurately coding healthcare services, procedures, diagnoses, and treatments in compliance with current regulations and standards. Key responsibilities include reviewing patient medical records, verifying and abstracting data, ensuring accurate billing codes, and supporting claim submissions. The role also involves working closely with healthcare professionals to maintain coding accuracy and resolve any discrepancies in documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Medical Coding and in-depth knowledge of Medical Terminology
• Familiarity with coding certifications and standards such as RHIT
• Proficiency in Health Information Management processes
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong understanding of coding for Cardiology and Neurology
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
• Certification in coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) is highly desirable
• Experience with US healthcare systems and HIPAA compliance is preferred
• Ability to adapt to local office requirements and maintain high accuracy under pressure
