Experienced Associate - US Tax

In this role as a Tax Experienced Associate at Sikich, your main responsibility will be to prepare and review various types of U.S. Income Tax Returns to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. You will have the opportunity to consult with clients on financial and tax planning matters, provide strategic tax advice, and service multiple client engagements simultaneously. Your role will also involve finding tax solutions to complex issues, advising management on tax liabilities, and staying updated on tax changes and industry trends. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and review U.S. Income Tax Returns, ensuring compliance with regulations - Provide financial and tax planning advice to clients - Offer strategic tax recommendations - Service multiple client engagements concurrently - Ensure accuracy and timeliness of client reports - Participate in training and development activities - Find tax solutions for complex issues - Advise management on tax liabilities and corporate strategies - Stay informed about tax changes and industry trends Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Masters Degree in Accounting with US Taxation experience - Inter CA, CA, CPA, or EA certification preferred - Strong client rapport and relationship-building skills - Self-motivated with a strong work ethic - Organizational skills for timely client report delivery - Proactive approach to accuracy and attention to detail - Knowledge of Tax software and US accounting systems - Proficiency in intermediate Microsoft Excel and MS Office - Strong interpersonal and communication skills - Problem-solving and innovation skills for technical challenges About the Firm: Sikich is a global company specializing in Accounting, Advisory, and Technical professional services.
