Experience Design

As a Design Lead at the company, your main responsibilities will include: - Solving design challenges by utilizing your deep experience in interaction design, information architecture, and/or visual design. You should be skilled in at least two design disciplines and have some skills in the third. Additionally, you should be able to structure and draw insights from user research, create artifacts illustrating app design, and evaluate designs through usability testing. Examples of tasks include creating wireframes, visual design comps, user flows, and prototypes to explore ideas and document design decisions. - Leading the design effort by directing, critiquing, and coaching the UX team. You will participate in user research, analyze results, structure usability tests, and interpret outcomes. Managing scope, balancing business and user needs, and ensuring timely delivery within budget are also part of your role. - Working with clients as a leader and expert. You will facilitate client discussions, defend design decisions to clients and the development team, and handle challenging client relationships with your deep experience and strong consulting skills. - Assisting in business development by understanding client needs, proposing solutions, presenting to senior client stakeholders, and contributing to proposals and statements of work. Your key capabilities should include: - Effectively presenting and defending design rationale based on brand, business needs, user goals, and usability rather than personal opinion. - Strong understanding of interface design principles, navigation and architecture, and typography, color, and layout principles. - Familiarity with standards-compliant web design and knowledge of CSS, JavaScript libraries, mobile app frameworks, etc. - Collaborating with technical team members and mentoring junior colleagues. - Excellent communication skills to engage with senior-level clients and work effectively in a team environment. - Experience in consulting and the ability to deal with ambiguity. - Willingness to travel to client locations and collaborate with distributed delivery teams.
