1.- Reduce safety incidents by Hazard identification and develop safe practices.
2.- Must be able to prepare safe work standards, procedures, incident report, identify and implement resolution and countermeasures using hierarchy of controls.
3.- Manpower management. Should be able to supervise the manufacturing process giving utmost priority to safety, quality and then productivity.
4.- Should have knowledge of new equipment installation check.
5.- Expertise in root cause analysis and implementation of countermeasure.
6.- Lead departmental objective of incident free workplace through continuous improvement of safety characteristics.
7.- Good to have advising and instructing skills and capabilities on various safety-related topics
8.- Should be able to identify hazards, ensuring compliance with legislation, and promoting a culture of health and safety in the workplace.
9.- Should have experience of organizing OHS training, inspect premises and work activities, investigate incidents, and prepare reports on occurrences.
10.- Should have knowledge and clear understanding of ISO 14001.
11- Should have knowledge of Welding processes and parameters.
12- Must be open to work in shifts.
