Job Description

Role & responsibilities Ensure Safety, Hygiene, Quality, 5S and 4M audits are conducted on the shop floor as per decided frequency. Ensure daily Production & Quality targets are achieved on the shop floor with SAFETY. Ensure work is carried out as per GSOS & OPS also do timely Review of OPS & GSOS. Give appropriate training to all new FTCs/employees as per OPS, so that they can be deputed on workstation accordingly. Collect the data of Safety, Quality, Productivity, Operation Rate, and other losses etc. and do the analysis for improvement. Ensure achievement of Suggestions, Kaizens, HHT targets as per guidelines. Conduct daily shift start and end meeting, One-to-One communication to know the concerns of Blue Collars. Act to close all concerns raised by them. Preparation of shift mapping to ensure uninterrupted production targets achievement. Ensure Stop Call Wait is followed on shop floor. Ensure PMS Goals are traced, and extra efforts are taken to achieve these Goals. All the communications received from management are to be communicated down the line. Ensure your flexibility to work in any area as per requirement by management. Attend all the training which is planned for him and ensure his teammate also attends the training as per plan. Participate in internal/External Audits, Projects as per guidelines. Participate in 5S activities on shop floor and ensure the excellent level of 5S on lines. Ensure Machine up time through minor stoppage reduction / Machine health check review. Knowledge of ISO Systems like ISO9001/14001 Knowledge of 4M and 5Why analysis to resolve quality issues of line. Preferred candidate profile 1. Good Product and Process Knowledge of Crankshaft 2. Hands on experience of Crankshaft machining (Forged Steel machining) 3. Hands on experience of CNC Turning machines, VMC, HMC & SPM. 4. Good knowledge of Fanuc/Siemens control. 5. Good CNC Programming knowledge. 6. Hands on experience of Grinding machines, Gantry and Robots. 7. Good knowledge of Cutting tools.
