Job Description

Role & responsibilities Engine/Transmission Process & Layout, Facility Planning Preparation of Engine/Transmission assembly process documentation Equipment procurement/modification, installation & commissioning. Assembly tools, jigs & fixtures design & procurement Planning & implementation of error-proofing systems Co-ordination with multiple internal teams & external suppliers for timely execution of projects. Execution of new model trials Preferred candidate profile Hands-on experience of various assembly processes Torquing, Press-fitting, Cold testing process – including Leak test & Vision-based inspection. Basic knowledge of automation (PLCs, RFIDs, etc.) Assembly drawing – reading & interpretation Knowledge of PFMEA Knowledge of QC tools. Experience in ISO9001 documentation Computer skills – MS Office, AutoCAD (must have); UG-NX (desirable)
