Job Summary:

The Supply Chain and Purchase Executive is responsible for managing the procurement of goods and services, ensuring timely delivery of materials, optimizing supply chain operations, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role plays a key part in ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and compliance throughout the purchasing and logistics processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement:

• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors.
• Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.

Supply Chain Coordination:

• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock without overstocking.
• Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to align supply with demand.
• Track shipments and resolve any supply chain disruptions or delays.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify opportunities for improvement.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements.
• Support audits by providing necessary procurement and supply chain records.

Vendor Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
• Evaluate vendor performance regularly and identify areas for improvement.
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, delays, or disputes.
