Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Executive Sous Chef based in Salem. The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards. They will also be responsible for overseeing food preparation, ensuring consistency and quality of dishes, and managing kitchen staff. Additionally, the role involves coordinating with other departments for smooth functioning of the kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in menu planning, and inventory management
• Strong skills in food preparation and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
• Competence in managing kitchen staff and overseeing kitchen operations
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional culinary training or relevant certification
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a luxury hotel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
