Executive- Sourcing Specialist

As a skilled Sourcing Specialist - Home Decor, your role will involve sourcing, vendor management, and production coordination within the home decor, furnishings, or lifestyle segment. You will be responsible for ensuring range planning, cost-effective procurement, on-time production, and quality compliance, while also contributing to category planning and performance tracking. Key Responsibilities: - Sourcing & Vendor Management - Identify and evaluate suppliers, artisans, and manufacturers (local & global). - Negotiate pricing, lead times, and terms to achieve target margins. - Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent quality and supply. - Production Management - Oversee production from sampling to final delivery, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines. - Resolve bottlenecks and ensure smooth coordination between vendors and internal teams. - Work with QC teams to ensure brand quality standards are met. - Category & Commercial Contribution - Support range planning based on trend, seasonality, and consumer insights. - Track category sales, channel sales, margins, and inventory to inform replenishment or markdown strategies. - Provide insights based on market trends and customer demand. - Conduct regular sales analysis to optimize product mix, pricing, and markdown strategies. - Ensure revenue targets and profitability are met for the brand. - Prepare regular category performance reports, cost analysis, and supplier scorecards. - Quality & Compliance - Implement QC protocols and conduct periodic product inspections. - Ensure compliance with ethical and sustainability guidelines. - Cross-Functional Collaboration - Coordinate with design, merchandising, logistics, and marketing teams for timely launches as per the quarterly plans. - Align product readiness with campaign and sales timelines. Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Textile/Fashion Design, or related field. - 4-5 years of experience in sourcing, production, or merchandising (home decor/lifestyle preferred). - Strong negotiation, vendor management, and problem-solving skills. - Good understanding of category performance metrics and costing. - Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and production tracking tools. - Willingness to travel for vendor visits and quality checks.,
