Executive /Senior Executive - DG Approval Process

Role & responsibilities Global Responsibility - enforcing Groups policies, procedures and guidelines in compliance with International and Statutory requirement and implementation globally Provide support for management & maintenance of LMS DG system Manage DG incidents, spills, improper loading, leakage and mis-declarations Review incident investigation and implement corrective actions for preventive measures Manage service failure and implement new guidelines to enhance process, such as but not limited to rejection/ restriction message from consortium and partner of any PIL Booking Vet and Approve Applications DG in LMS / Email Negotiation of Charter Party with vessels owners for dangerous goods clause Administrator for Hazmat training via E-Learning training course for Dangerous Cargo Officers globally Provide support for projects relating to Dangerous Goods Identity Agency underperforming agencies. Organize training and familiarization with agency especially the required process, documentation and best booking practices. To research and carried risk assessments for dangerous goods cargo acceptance Monitor staff compliance with IMDG and internal regulations Monitor review and distribute the workload among staff Monitor industry practice and review own policy in the light of such Prepare weekly and monthly reports Monitor and update LMS suspicious word to detect possible non-declared IMDG cargo. Preferred candidate profile Recognized Degree preferably in Maritime or Logistics, with at least 3 years of working experience in Liner Shipping or Poly Grad with 3-5 years of industry experience Candidate with sailing background (deck officer), scheduling and/or Stowage planning experience preferred Familiar with IMDG Code and container stowage on vessels Proficient in Microsoft tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint Advanced certification in dashboarding tools like Tableau, Power BI preferred
