As a Workers Recruitment Executive in the Human Resources department, your role will involve ensuring timely recruitment and deployment of workers for shop floor operations, while also managing worker welfare facilities like dormitories/hostels to create a safe living environment. Your responsibilities will include: - Manpower Requirement Planning: - Collect and consolidate worker-level manpower requirements from various departments. - Anticipate seasonal/manpower fluctuations and manage absenteeism replacements. - Sourcing & Recruitment: - Source workers through various channels like job fairs, local employment exchanges, contractors, and skill training institutes. - Conduct worker screening, skill tests, and medical fitness checks. - Organize bulk-hiring drives and walk-in interviews. - Selection & Placement: - Coordinate skill/trade tests for shop-floor roles. - Issue offers and ensure timely joining. - Allocate workers to appropriate departments based on skill levels. - Onboarding & Induction: - Complete joining formalities and conduct orientation sessions on company rules, workplace safety, and code of conduct. - Dormitory/Hostel Management: - Assist in setting up and managing worker dormitory/hostel facilities. - Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and implement grievance redressal mechanisms. - Contractor & Vendor Coordination: - Liaise with manpower contractors for labor supply and ensure compliance with statutory laws. - Coordinate with vendors for hostel food supply, housekeeping, and maintenance. - Database & Reporting: - Maintain worker database and track daily attendance and hostel occupancy. - Submit manpower and hostel reports to management. - Compliance & Worker Welfare: - Ensure recruitment and accommodation comply with labor laws and buyer standards. - Facilitate audits and maintain statutory compliance. Key Skills & Competencies required for this role include strong worker recruitment abilities, experience in managing worker dormitories/hostels, knowledge of labor welfare and statutory compliance, good vendor/contractor management skills, and effective communication in Tamil, Hindi & English. Educational Qualifications: - Graduate in any discipline. - MBA/PGDM in HR / Diploma in HR & IR preferred. Experience: - 25 years of worker recruitment experience in the manufacturing industry. - Hands-on experience in worker dormitory/hostel setup & management. Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure your success in this role will include worker positions filled on time, worker retention rate, contractor compliance score, dormitory occupancy/utilization rate, and worker satisfaction index for living and working conditions.
