Position:

Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient progression of both Technology Transfer and Commercial Production projects. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience, a strong background in project management or operations, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities for this role are focused on effective coordination, communication, and risk management across the entire project life cycle:

Project Execution & Technology Transfer Management:

  • Coordinate all activities related to Technology Transfer projects, ensuring timely transition of drug products from development to commercial manufacturing stages.
  • Oversee project adherence to all internal SOPs, regulatory guidelines, and quality assurance standards (GMP).

Cross-Functional Team Coordination:

  • Serve as the central point of contact, orchestrating and aligning tasks between various internal departments, including Manufacturing, Quality Assurance (QA/QC), Regulatory Affairs, and Supply Chain.

Client Communication & Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain professional and proactive communication with clients, providing regular, accurate, and professional project status updates and addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Facilitate necessary documentation and approvals between the client and internal teams.

Documentation, Tracking, and Reporting:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Project Trackers (e.g., Gantt charts, timelines, milestones) for all assigned projects (both tech transfer and commercial products).
  • Generate and distribute timely Management Information System (MIS) reports detailing project status, resource utilization, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership.

Risk and Commitment Management:

  • Proactively identify potential project risks, roadblocks, and delays (e.g., supply chain issues, equipment conflicts, regulatory hurdles).
  • Develop and communicate mitigation strategies to the relevant stakeholders to ensure project commitments and deadlines are met.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably within a pharmaceutical manufacturing or highly regulated environment.
  • Education: B. Tech in Chemical, Biotechnology, bachelors degree in pharmacy, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related technical field is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in project management and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data tracking and MIS reporting.
  • Attributes: Exceptional organizational ability, acute attention to detail, and proven capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
