Job Description

Role Overview:

The

Executive - Logistics

will play a key role in managing and coordinating all inbound and outbound shipment activities, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all applicable regulations. This individual will be responsible for vendor coordination, shipment documentation, issue resolution, and logistics reporting. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate Shipment Operations:


    Manage end-to-end logistics for both domestic and international shipments including booking, documentation, customs clearance, and real-time tracking of shipments.
  • Vendor & Transport Management:


    Collaborate with freight forwarders, transporters, customs agents, and warehouse teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery. Negotiate to achieve cost-effective and efficient transportation solutions.
  • Compliance & Documentation:


    Ensure all logistics operations adhere to import/export regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping and customs documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Issue Resolution:


    Proactively manage and resolve logistics-related issues such as delays, damages, or lost shipments by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Reporting & Tracking:


    Maintain shipment trackers, generate regular reports, and update stakeholders on shipment status, exceptions, and performance KPIs.
  • Process Improvement:


    Contribute to improving logistics workflows and cost efficiency through continuous feedback and performance monitoring.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or related roles.
  • Basic knowledge of import/export regulations, customs processes, and shipping documentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools (especially Excel) and Google Sheets.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
