Executive Legal Associate

As a Senior Legal Associate at our organization, you will be an integral part of the legal team, overseeing legal corporate governance, compliance, and various legal tasks. Your role is crucial in ensuring the organization's adherence to legal regulations and managing complex legal matters effectively. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing, implementing, and enhancing corporate governance policies and procedures - Providing guidance to the Legal Manager on corporate governance matters - Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations governing corporate governance - Designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive compliance programs - Conducting regular assessments and audits to ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations - Supervising the creation, organization, and maintenance of legal documentation, contracts, and agreements - Overseeing the accuracy, completeness, and security of legal records - Conducting legal research on complex issues to provide strategic guidance - Analyzing legal implications of business initiatives and providing proactive advice - Staying abreast of legal developments and changes that may impact the organization Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from an accredited institution - Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction - 3+ years of relevant experience - Proven track record in contract review, legal drafting, and negotiation - Experience in compliance management and conducting internal audits - Excellent organizational and multitasking skills - Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation This is a full-time position with benefits including Provident Fund.
