Role & responsibilities

Operational Management:

• Manage end-to-end backend operations related to SIF, including transaction processing (purchases, redemptions, switches, SIPs, STPs, SWPs), reconciliations, and data validation.
• Ensure all activities are performed in adherence to SEBI regulations and AMFI/industry standards.
• Monitor SLA adherence, quality control, and process accuracy to minimize errors and rework.
• Drive automation and system improvements to enhance process efficiency and scalability.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of executives and senior executives handling backend operations.
• Allocate resources effectively and manage team performance through regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Foster a high-performance culture focused on quality, accuracy, and timeliness.

Stakeholder Management:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Asset Management Companies (AMCs), custodians, fund accountants, and internal departments.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Technology, Finance, and Client Servicing teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Proactively address queries and resolve operational issues/escalations raised by stakeholders.

Reporting & Governance:

• Prepare and analyze MIS reports for internal reviews and audits.
• Participate in internal and external audits, ensuring timely closure of observations.
• Monitor risk parameters and implement appropriate controls.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth understanding of Mutual Fund products, operational workflows, and regulatory framework.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a process improvement approach.
• Proficient in MS Excel, MIS reporting, and working knowledge of Mutual Fund transaction systems.

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate / Postgraduate in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.

Prior experience in Transfer Agency (TA) or RTA environment is highly preferred.
