Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, to lead our Corporate Relations Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing placement strategies, building strong industry connections, and ensuring successful placement of our students in top IT companies. Key Responsibilities: Placement Strategy Development: Lead the development and execution of effective placement strategies to optimize student placement opportunities within the IT sector. Industry Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with HR professionals and recruiters in leading IT companies to facilitate placement opportunities for our students. Student Preparation Oversight: Provide oversight and guidance to the team in coordinating with training teams to ensure students are adequately prepared for interviews and job roles, offering expertise in resume building, interview skills, and technical competencies. Placement Drive Management: Direct and oversee the planning and execution of campus placement drives, job fairs, and recruitment events to connect students with potential employers and maximize placement outcomes. Data Management and Analysis: Ensure comprehensive records of student placements, company feedback, and industry trends are maintained, utilizing data to continuously enhance placement strategies and outcomes. Alumni Engagement Leadership: Lead efforts to develop and engage an active alumni network to support with placements and provide mentorship to current students, leveraging alumni connections within the industry. Career Guidance Provision: Offer expert career counseling and guidance to students, assisting them in making informed decisions about their career paths and aligning them with suitable opportunities. Reporting and Strategy Refinement: Prepare and present regular reports on placement activities, success rates, and areas for improvement to the management team, leading the team in utilizing insights to refine strategies and achieve placement goals. Requirements Qualifications and Requirements: Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placement management, or related roles within the IT sector, with demonstrable experience in leadership positions. Leadership Skills: Proven leadership experience, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team of experienced professionals. Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the IT industry landscape, hiring trends, and recruitment processes. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on developing innovative placement strategies and solutions.
