Job Description

  • The strategic leader responsible for strategic planning, run, delivery and service management of the Group Security function in NAB India
  • A driver of innovation and continuous improvement, both in customer as we'll as colleague experience, but also in how security is delivered at NAB
  • Provide operational and Security-based leadership across the India Technology Centre Group Security resources and delivery. This role will require you to establish, maintain and drive a highly engaged, capable and progressive NAB team to deliver high quality outcomes.
  • As a leader you will be responsible for the operational activities, on the ground people leadership, embedding the strategic purpose of Group Security and NAB entity and influence and support the delivery of security service offerings.
  • You are one of the key leaders in the Group Security domain and collaborate to improve processes and ways of working, removing impediments across our group.
Key Accountabilities
  • Partner with Group Security leadership during and post strategy formation to align goals, commitments, and outcomes specific to Group Security and how these relate to the NICI
  • Ownership and delivery of Group Security Strategic Program of Work
  • Understand the impact of the Group Security strategy on the commercial and operational activities and how NICI will contribute to the outcomes
  • Contribute to Group Security s goals and commitments and work across the sub domains to ensure value is extracted from investments and existing operational processes and track that commitments are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor technology development and trends which could have implications or present opportunities for Group Security. Support the development and execution of these opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively to improve delivery and operational processes within Group Security to optimise NICI delivery and performance
  • Establish clear goal tracking and support the measurement and ongoing uplift to meet core outcomes and commitments for the NICI. This will include workforce measure, quality, training and delivery of discreet pieces of work
  • Monitor NICI performance metrics driving uplift interventions where required
  • Drive continuous improvement, from identification to implementation and measurement within the NICI and broader Group Security (as required)

Qualification and Experience Requirements

Tertiary qualified with a preference to post graduate qualifications with 20+ years of experience.
Experience
  • Demonstrated delivery experience navigating large, complex organisations, preferably in banking and financial services
  • Experience working and leading teams in a Matrix organisation
  • Working in staff augmentation, managed services environments across different timezones
  • Track record of providing quality insights that help drive decisions to ensure teams are operating effectively and delivering consistent results in a large complex organisation
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen and management
  • Demonstrate ability to improve medium to large team performances
  • Demonstrable operational and delivery expertise (where required) and business unit knowledge to either deliver or support improved business outcomes and capabilities.
