Job Description

Position Name:

Executive / Officer Export & Import (EXIM)

Location:

Kolkata (Later Bhubaneswar)

Role & responsibilities

Manage export and import documentation, customs clearance, and logistics in compliance with applicable trade regulations.
Handle SAP transactions related to EXIM operations, including billing, shipments, and reporting.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA, banks, and internal teams for timely execution of shipments.
Monitor inter-company transactions, transfer pricing implications, and currency impact on EXIM operations.
Ensure accuracy in invoices, packing lists, BOE, shipping bills, and related documents.
Track duties, exemptions, incentives, and maintain records for audits and statutory reviews.
Support cost optimization through effective planning of duties, freight, and forex impact.
Complete assigned projects by using workflows with Innovation, Operations and Platform Groups.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Commerce (BCom) / Business Administration (BBA) with relevant EXIM experience.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Export/Import operations.
Strong working knowledge of SAP (MM/SD modules preferred).
Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
Sound understanding of inter-company pricing, foreign exchange impact, and trade compliance.
Meticulous, detail-oriented, and process-driven approach.
Strong analytical and documentation skills.
Good coordination and stakeholder management abilities.
High level of accuracy, compliance mindset, and ownership.
