Job Description

Vacancy: (Grade) Sr. Engineer Maintenance (Tumkur, India)

What will you do?

Key Responsibilities

A. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance

Execute preventive maintenance (PM) as per schedule for plant machinery.
Ensure proper health of M/C panels, VFDs, motors, transformers, DG sets, HT/LT panels.
Conduct predictive checks using IR thermometer, megger testing, and vibration checks.

B. Breakdown Maintenance

Attend electromechanical breakdowns and restore operations with minimum downtime.
Maintain documentation of breakdown logs and MTTR/MTBF trends.

C. Spare Management

Coordinate with procurement team for spare parts planning and inventory control.
Spare issue / receive records maintain

D. Electrical System Management

Monitor power consumption, load distribution, and ensure efficient usage.
Oversee UPS, stabilizers, AMF panels, APFC panels, and capacitor banks.
Maintain lighting system, wiring, cabling, and control circuits.

E. Safety & Compliance

F. Documentation & Spare management

Maintain maintenance records: PM, breakdowns, spares usage
Prepare reports: maintenance KPIs (MTTR, MTBF, downtime hours).

G. Continuous Improvement

Suggest and implement energy-saving initiatives.
Reduce repeated breakdowns using RCA, 5 Why, and Kaizen approach.
Upgrade electrical systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.

H. Team Coordination

Pneumatic in-depth knowledge
Basic Mechanical knowledge is a shall requirement.
