The Personal Assistant (PA) to the managing director plays a crucial role in supporting the MD by handling secretarial and administrative tasks, while also being the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. As the PA, you will need to be well-versed in the organization's objectives and work closely with the MD to ensure smooth operations. Your responsibilities will include managing the MD's diary, which involves setting up meeting files, scheduling meetings, creating agendas, coordinating participants, and making necessary arrangements. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining the MD's travel log and planner, ensuring that they are well-informed of upcoming commitments. A key part of your role will be to work closely with the Managing Director, providing support and assistance in various tasks. This may involve taking minutes at management meetings, typing up minutes, and handling ad hoc paperwork and duties as required. To excel in this position, you are required to have a Bachelor's or Master's degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in supporting Directors or Senior Management. Proficiency in Diary Management, Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and fluency in English, Tamil, and Hindi are essential.
