Job Description

Role & responsibilities

The Secretary to the CRO will provide high-quality administrative, coordination and analytical support to the Chief Risk Officer. The role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage calendars, prepare reports, coordinate with internal/external stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality while ensuring smooth functioning of the CROs office.

Executive Support:

  •  Manage and maintain the CROs calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel plans.
  •  Prioritize incoming communication, emails, and requests; handle correspondence on behalf of the CRO where required.
  •  Organise internal and external meetings, including logistics, venue booking, agenda preparation, and documentation.
  •    Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.

Office Coordination & Communication:

  •  Act as the primary point of contact between the CRO’s office and other business units/functions.
  •  Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely submission of reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Facilitate smooth information flow within the CRO office.

Documentation & Reporting:

  •  Draft letters, memos, meeting notes, and official communication for the CRO.
  •  Prepare, edit, and format presentations, MIS, reports, and risk summaries for management committees and board meetings.
  • Maintain documentation related to risk reviews, compliance filings, and governance activities.

Meeting & Governance Management

  •  Schedule and track key governance meetings: Risk Committee, Compliance Reviews, and Business Risk Reviews.
  • Prepare meeting agenda, collate materials, circulate pre-reads, and record minutes of meetings.
  •   Follow up on action items and ensure timely closure.

Administrative & Operational Support

  •    Manage expense statements, reimbursement claims, travel arrangements, and vendor coordination for the CRO office.
  •  Maintain office records, data repositories, and confidential files in an organised manner.
  •  Support in planning workshops, training sessions, and townhalls for the Risk function.

Technical Skills

  •   Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  •   Familiarity with risk terminology and governance processes (preferred).
  •   Strong documentation and report-preparation skills.
