Key Responsibilities

• Review and accept orders, including those under Letters of Credit (L/C).
• Plan and schedule production in coordination with internal departments.
• Handle freight negotiations with shipping lines and freight forwarders.
• Coordinate with transporters, forwarders, and shipping lines to ensure timely vessel connections from various Indian ports.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and manage communication with international buyers.
• Maintain accurate filing and documentation for all shipments; proficient in computerized workflow.
• Coordinate with Finance for payment adjustments and reconciliation.
• Liaise with third-party inspection agencies for shipment inspections.
• Prepare factory instructions as per customer orders.
• Follow up with the SCM department for shipment readiness.
• Oversee all pre-dispatch activitiesfrom order entry to final dispatch.
