Multi-Functional (Event Ops / PMO / Platform Ops / Customer Coordination)

Role Overview

The Event Specialist (SES) supports large-scale virtual training, skilling, and event delivery.

This is a multi-functional role, where the individual may be mapped to one or more areas based on organizational needs:

  • Event Operations
  • Customer Success / PMO Support
  • Platform Operations
  • Internal Coordination & Compliance

Key Responsibilities

1. Event Operations (EO)

  • Execute end-to-end event tasks: configuration, readiness checks, scheduling, instructor coordination.
  • Monitor live events, support participants/instructors, and manage day-to-day event workflows.
  • Maintain accuracy in all pre-event and post-event processes and ensure 100% checklist adherence.

2. PMO / Customer Success (CS)

  • Contribute to concise weekly updates, action trackers, event summaries, and customer notes.
  • Support customer-facing governance through structured communication and timely follow-ups.
  • Flag risks, delays, dependencies, and drive closure with internal teams.

3. Platform Operations (PO)

  • Perform UAT, functional testing, regression checks, and issue reproduction.
  • Work with product/engineering teams on platform bugs, enhancements, and release readiness.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation, user guides, and process instructions.

4. Compliance, Documentation & Coordination

  • Follow customer and Spektra compliance requirements: data handling, PII safety, confidentiality.
  • Coordinate across internal teams & customers to meet all the compliance requirements.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in operations/support/project coordination/event execution.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Sheets, documentation, and structured reporting.
  • Ability to work independently with ownership, accuracy, and accountability.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with dynamic priorities.
