Event Management Senior Associate

As a member of the Event Management team in Model office, you will play a crucial role in supporting the service and infrastructure event management functions. Here is what you'll be doing: - Support the Event Management function in the Model office by providing event management support capabilities. - Keep your skills up to date and stay aware of developments in service assurance tools. - Assist the tools team with scoping and costing options to resolve business capacity issues. - Conduct impact analysis and risk assessment on RCA for critical events and support root cause investigations. - Provide support for service desk, problem management team, and problem investigations. - Participate in change on service assurance tools and approve the same. - Identify performance issues, model options for tuning, and optimize event monitoring rules. - Lead projects, coordinate with various stakeholders, and contribute to the Event Management process and its operation. Skills required for this role: - Experience working with tools such as EMC SMARTS, EMC Ionix, Network Configuration Manager (NCM), Prognosis, SevOne, Net Brain, and other event management tools. - General understanding of Network, VoIP, Security Tools, and Virtual Servers managed in VMware vCentre environments. - Ability to analyze data and trends using analytical tools and Microsoft Excel. - Proficiency in constructing presentation slide decks using Microsoft PowerPoint. - Understanding of contract schedules, commercial, and financial issues. - Skill in investigation, structuring information, and identifying root causes of problems. - Ability to perform improvement activities on a simple business process in your area of expertise.
