As a Service Now Developer with over 3 years of experience, you will be responsible for understanding the entire Service assurance or fulfillment life cycle. You should have a fundamental understanding of Service Now modules, integration hub, and components. Your main tasks will include the development and enhancement of Service Now applications/modules such as TSM, ITSM, CMDB, CSM, OMT, FSM, ITOM, TSOM, GRC, and HRSD. Your role will also involve hands-on experience in API integration with third-party applications, utilizing both OOTB and custom solutions. You should have system integration experience using web services and web-based technologies like XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP, and SSO-SAML. Developing workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications, as well as automating and improving business processes, will be part of your daily tasks. Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, and Jelly will be essential. You will implement changes, workflow automation, UI modifications, integrations, and enhancements. Additionally, you will perform workflow design, configuration, development, and data loads for the ServiceNow platform. Experience in configuring Business Rules, Scripting, UI Actions, and Scheduled Jobs is required. Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as User Story and Sprint model is necessary. A technical bent of mind with a keen interest in system configurations and integrations is desirable. Knowledge of ITIL, eTOM, and TAM, as well as an understanding of TM Forum APIs and Telecom products/services, will be beneficial. A good functional understanding of at least one of the tools like ServiceNow, Netcool, BMC Remedy, or EMC Smarts with a minimum of 4 years of experience is preferred. You should have experience in BSS/OSS architecture, design, and implementation for Telecom customers to effectively capture requirements. Engaging with multiple stakeholders like Business, SI partners, and System owners will be part of your role.
