Brief Job Description : Corporate event planning, execution, and coordination from inception to completion. Developing event concepts, themes, and timelines. Liaising with management to understand their requirements and expectations. Negotiating contracts and booking terms with vendors, suppliers, and venues. Managing relationships with external partners and ensuring all deliverables are met. Monitoring expenses and ensuring events are executed within budget constraints. Ensuring smooth event operations on-site. Managing logistics, schedules, and resolving any issues that arise. Securing appropriate venues, including auditoriums, based on event requirements. Understanding seating capacities, layout options, and logistical considerations. Proficiency in selecting and configuring in stage lighting, sound systems, microphones, and audio-visual equipment. Overseeing technical setup and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly Coordinating catering services and menu selection based on event themes and attendee preferences. Assessing space requirements and ensuring adequate square footage for seating, booths, stages, etc. Optimizing venue layouts for traffic flow and attendee comfort. Maintaining budgetary discipline and ensuring cost-efficiency in all aspects of event planning. Adhering to legal requirements and regulations related to event management, including permits and licenses. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards at all events. Responsible for planning and coordinating travel logistics for events, including creating detailed itineraries for staff and participants. Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each event to ensure smooth execution and consistency. Prepare comprehensive checklists for all event-related tasks to ensure nothing is overlooked and all aspects are covered. Qualifications: Proven experience as in Event Management with a focus on corporate events. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Technical proficiency in stage lighting, sound systems, and AV equipment. Degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
