We are seeking a skilled and experienced PostgreSQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in database development, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL, SQL, and PL/pgSQL. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining PostgreSQL databases and related applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and data integrity. Responsibilities : - Database Design and Development : Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and related applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards. - SQL and PL/pgSQL Expertise : Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers using PL/pgSQL. - Performance Tuning : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in PostgreSQL databases and applications. - Data Modeling : Create and maintain logical and physical data models for PostgreSQL databases. - Data Migration : Assist with data migration and integration projects, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. - Code Reviews : Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. - Troubleshooting and Debugging : Troubleshoot and debug issues related to PostgreSQL databases and applications. - Documentation : Maintain clear and concise documentation for PostgreSQL databases and applications. - Collaboration : Collaborate with other developers, DBAs, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Qualifications : Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 4+ years of experience in database development, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL. Technical Skills : - Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL. - Experience with database design and modeling. - Experience with database performance tuning and optimization. - Experience with data migration and integration. - Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.
