An Event Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and managing events from start to finish to ensure they run smoothly and meet client or organizational objectives. Their key duties include understanding event requirements, booking venues, coordinating with vendors (such as caterers, decorators, entertainers), managing budgets, scheduling speakers or performers, overseeing event setup and teardown, and evaluating the event’s success. Strong organizational, communication, multitasking, and vendor management skills are essential for this role.
