Ev Charging Technician

We are looking for a skilled EV Charging Technician to support the installation, operation, and maintenance of Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations. The role involves handling electrical systems, troubleshooting issues, ensuring safety compliance, and providing technical support for smooth operations of EV charging infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and commission EV charging stations at client or company sites. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of charging equipment. Diagnose and resolve electrical, connectivity, and hardware/software issues in chargers. Ensure adherence to safety standards while handling high-voltage equipment. Maintain accurate service logs, installation reports, and checklists. Provide on-site technical support and customer assistance when required. Coordinate with OEMs, vendors, and internal teams for escalated issues. Stay updated with the latest EV charging technologies and standards. Requirements ITI/Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical, Electronics, or related field. 1–3 years of experience in electrical/EV/charging station installation & maintenance. Knowledge of EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment), power electronics, and wiring systems. Ability to use electrical testing tools, diagnostic equipment, and software. Familiarity with networking and communication protocols (OCPP, RFID, IoT-based chargers) is an advantage. Strong troubleshooting skills and safety awareness. Willingness to travel for site installations and field support.
