Responsibilities

• Collaborate with project managers and architects to gather all necessary information for accurate estimates.
• Review and interpret mechanical contracts to provide clear and concise estimates that align with client expectations.
• Evaluate alternative construction methods and material options to provide cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare detailed bid proposals and documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, material costs, and industry practices to enhance estimating accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an estimation engineer or in a related role within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles relevant to construction.
• Proficient in estimation software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical skills with an ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients, contractors, and project teams.
