ERP Specialist

Role & responsibilities

• Assist in enhancing the structure of the data, its accuracy and effectiveness, the current setup and reporting
• Implement and support Progen ERP system  modules as required to support the IT run and build teams.
• Install, configure, maintain (upgrade and patch) an ERP database
• Develop database standards, guidelines and best practices
• Evaluate and research new database features, version and technologies, functional solution for ERP.
• Provide cross functional on going support and maintenance across the Groups ERP platform, Progen ERP.
• Provision of first and second line support, delivering on agreed enhancement requests to the Progen ERP.
• Preparation and maintenance of documentation (functional specifications, configuration documents etc)
• Provide technical assistance to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system problems to minimize downtime.
• Set up new hardware, including servers, workstations, and peripheral devices.
• Install and configure operating systems, applications, and software updates.
• Oversee the functionality of network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Install, update, and maintain operating systems across all devices.
