Environmental Advisor

Educational Qualification and Experience with respect to the Environment Associate: a. Educational Qualification: M.Sc. in Environment Science / Management from the recognized institution/university. OR B.Tech./M.Tech. in Environment Engineering from AICTE recognised institution/ university. b. Work Experience : Minimum 01 year- Prefersbly with the State Forest Department/State Pollution Control Board/ Pollution Control Committee/ CPCB etc. Job description Scope of Work for Environment Associates 1. Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) Conducting baseline environmental studies (air, water, soil, noise). Identifying potential environmental impacts of proposed projects. Preparing and submitting EIA reports to regulatory authorities. Assisting in public consultations and hearings. 2. Regulatory Compliance and Permitting Identifying applicable environmental regulations (local, state, national). Obtaining necessary environmental clearances and permits (e.g., CTE/CTO from Pollution Control Boards). Regular reporting and liaison with environmental authorities. 3. Sustainability and Environmental Management Systems Designing and implementing Environmental Management Systems (EMS, ISO 14001). Advising on sustainable practices and carbon footprint reduction. Conducting environmental audits and due diligence. 4. Pollution Control and Monitoring Designing pollution control systems (air scrubbers, ETP/STP, etc.). Regular monitoring of emissions, effluents, and other pollutants. Preparing and submitting monitoring reports as per norms. 5. Waste Management Advising on solid, hazardous, and biomedical waste handling and disposal. Helping in setting up waste segregation and treatment systems. Supporting clients in complying with waste management rules. 6. Training and Capacity Building Conducting training programs on environmental awareness and compliance. Preparing SOPs and manuals for environmental operations. 7. CSR and Green Initiatives Supporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs related to the environment. Advising on afforestation, renewable energy adoption, and eco-restoration projects. Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to ₹65,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Rotational shift Work Location: In person
