Job Description

Establishing and enforcing environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws Developing and implementing strategies for minimizing environmental impacts from new construction projects or changes in current operations Undertaking Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology (BREEAM) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) assessments Completing sustainability plans Conducting site assessments and producing reports on findings Coordinating with engineering firms or contractors to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget Supervising the implementation of projects, including reviewing plans and inspecting work sites to ensure quality Meeting clients and determining their needs Overseeing daily activities of team members to maintain environment system (EMS) Responding to concerns and inquiries related to EMS Performing environmental regulation audits to monitor contamination, emissions and damages Show more Show less
