Job Description – English Professor Position: English Professor (Aviation & Hospitality Communication) Organization: Air Hostess Academy (under Taiso Global Pvt. Ltd.) Location: Khandeshwar, Panvel. Employment Type: Full-Time About the RoleWe are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English Professor with expertise in aviation, hospitality, and corporate communication. The candidate will be responsible for training future air hostesses and aviation professionals in English proficiency, communication skills, and soft skills essential for the aviation and hospitality industry. Key ResponsibilitiesTeach English grammar, vocabulary, phonetics, and pronunciation with a focus on aviation and hospitality contexts. Train students in spoken English, effective communication, and professional correspondence. Conduct role-play sessions, group discussions, mock interviews, and GD/PI rounds to prepare students for airline recruitment. Enhance students’ skills in public speaking, customer service communication, and cross-cultural interactions. Design and deliver specialized modules on aviation English, in-flight announcements, and emergency communication protocols. Prepare and update lesson plans, teaching material, and assessments aligned with international aviation and hospitality standards. Mentor students in confidence-building, etiquette, and personality development. Collaborate with the academy’s training team to ensure holistic grooming and placement readiness. Evaluate student performance and provide individualized feedback and support. Qualifications & RequirementsMaster’s Degree in English / Applied Linguistics / Communication / ELT (PhD preferred). Minimum 5+ years of teaching experience in English communication, preferably in aviation, hospitality, or corporate training. Certification in TESOL/TEFL/CELTA or Aviation English Training will be an added advantage. Strong command over spoken and written English with neutral accent and clear diction. Excellent interpersonal, mentoring, and presentation skills. Familiarity with aviation industry terminology, etiquette, and recruitment processes is desirable.
