Engineer/Senior Engineer

As an Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support to industrial customers both before and after sales. Your responsibilities will include: - Conducting customized demonstrations and presentations on software, ensuring proper management of demonstration materials and laptops, and practicing various types of demonstrations. - Performing onsite needs assessments with customers and presenting Engineering Solutions, including SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD & CAE products, to manufacturing and design industries. - Finalizing benchmark scope of work in relation to benchmark and demonstration activities. In the post-sales phase, you will be involved in: - Implementing software licenses and installing software tools at client locations. - Conducting corporate training programs for client employees and internal training for new employees. - Providing support for pre-sales and post-sales activities, troubleshooting, and end-to-end client servicing on software solutions. Your role will also entail: - Making personal visits within the assigned territory to provide technical support for both pre-sales and post-sales activities, including evaluation, presentation, benchmarking, installation, training, and ongoing support. - Coordinating technically and providing support throughout the client acquisition process, contributing to business development objectives, account mapping, and lead generation efforts. - Collaborating with Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams to support their tasks and strategies for revenue generation. Qualifications required for this role include: - 1-2 years of experience in technical support for engineers. - Education background in B.E / B.Tech Mechanical / Production / Automotive Engineering. - Sound experience and understanding of SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD Platform. - Proven track record in manufacturing, technology, and software. - Excellent communication and presentation skills.
