Engineer/Senior Engineer

As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support to industrial customers. In the pre-sales role, you will be involved in preparing customized demonstrations, managing demonstration equipment, conducting effective presentations to customers, and assessing customer needs to present Engineering Solutions, focusing on SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD & CAE products. Additionally, you will be finalizing benchmark scope of work for demonstrations. In the post-sales role, you will be responsible for software license implementation, conducting training programs for clients and internal employees, and providing ongoing support and troubleshooting services for software solutions. This will involve personal visits to client locations within the assigned territory to deliver technical support activities including evaluation, presentation, benchmarking, installation, and training. You will also be required to provide technical coordination and support throughout the client acquisition process, contribute to business development objectives by supporting the Inside Sales, Marketing, and Business Development teams, and assist in revenue generation strategies. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in technical support for engineers, with a background in B.E / B.Tech Mechanical / Production / Automotive Engineering. Primary skills required include a strong understanding of the SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD Platform, while secondary skills include a proven track record in manufacturing, technology, and software, as well as excellent communication and presentation abilities.
