Responsibilities

Hire top engineering talent in India
Foster the growth of your team members through active feedback and coaching
Work closely with product management and engineering leadership to build a roadmap for your team
Own execution and delivery for the team roadmaps, timelines, and quality
Build a strong engineering culture rooted in ownership, excellence, and accountability
Participate in code and design reviews when needed
Help field engineering in supporting our customers

Requirements

8 years of engineering experience and 2 years of engineering management experience
Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional work experience)
Experience working on the internals of large-scale distributed systems and databases
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers with ease

Bonus Points

A history of open-source contributions is a plus; being a committer on a data-related project is a big plus
