Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of Healthcare Data Engineering to own our healthcare data infrastructure. This leader will design, scale, and manage our data pipelines and platforms — powering the AI agents and analytics that drive Zynix AI. The role is ideal for someone who has worked in healthcare data-first companies (Innovaccer, Arcadia, Health Catalyst, Optum, etc.) and understands the nuances of clinical + claims data integration at scale.

Responsibilities

• Architect and scale healthcare data pipelines (FHIR, HL7, X12, CCLF, ADT, EHR extracts).
• Lead the data engineering team responsible for ingestion, normalization, and quality of healthcare data.
• Work closely with AI/ML teams to ensure clean, structured datasets for predictive models and agents.
• Build a scalable healthcare data lake / warehouse powering analytics and care workflows.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare data standards.
• Collaborate with EMR vendors, payers, and HIEs to optimize integrations.
• Establish best practices in healthcare data engineering, observability, and reliability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in healthcare.
• Prior work at a healthcare data platform company (Innovaccer, Arcadia, Health Catalyst, Optum, etc.) strongly preferred.
• Strong experience with healthcare data standards: FHIR, HL7, X12, claims, CCLF, ADT, EDI.
• Proven ability to lead teams building production-grade data platforms.
• Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with data pipelines (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Familiarity with risk adjustment, value-based care, and quality measures (CQM/HEDIS) is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹4,691,591.07 - ₹5,507,672.64 per year
