Role Overview We are seeking a Director of Healthcare Data Engineering to own our healthcare data infrastructure. This leader will design, scale, and manage our data pipelines and platforms — powering the AI agents and analytics that drive Zynix AI. The role is ideal for someone who has worked in healthcare data-first companies (Innovaccer, Arcadia, Health Catalyst, Optum, etc.) and understands the nuances of clinical + claims data integration at scale. Responsibilities Architect and scale healthcare data pipelines (FHIR, HL7, X12, CCLF, ADT, EHR extracts). Lead the data engineering team responsible for ingestion, normalization, and quality of healthcare data. Work closely with AI/ML teams to ensure clean, structured datasets for predictive models and agents. Build a scalable healthcare data lake / warehouse powering analytics and care workflows. Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, and other healthcare data standards. Collaborate with EMR vendors, payers, and HIEs to optimize integrations. Establish best practices in healthcare data engineering, observability, and reliability. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3 years in healthcare. Prior work at a healthcare data platform company (Innovaccer, Arcadia, Health Catalyst, Optum, etc.) strongly preferred. Strong experience with healthcare data standards: FHIR, HL7, X12, claims, CCLF, ADT, EDI. Proven ability to lead teams building production-grade data platforms. Strong cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) with data pipelines (Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
