Engineering Intern

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist engineers in New Product Development activities, including basic understanding of 3D models and drawings
• Support drawing review, approval follow-ups, and coordination with design teams
• Assist in testing of new or modified products under supervision
• Support Quality team in incoming material inspection and finished goods quality checks
• Assist in basic quality testing, type test coordination, and report documentation
• Support Design team in BOM preparation, part number tracking, and drawing submissions
• Assist in drafting and basic design-related documentation
• Assist Order Management team in order processing, tracking, and inter-department coordination
• Support customer communication follow-ups and feedback documentation
• Assist Tendering team in quotation data recording, follow-ups, and vendor coordination
• Support Production team in day-to-day shopfloor activities
• Assist supervisors in work allocation and shopfloor coordination
• Help maintain safe, clean, and disciplined shopfloor environment
• Follow safety rules, quality standards, and company policies at all times
• Support documentation, reporting, and continuous improvement activities

Preferred candidate profile

• BE / BTech students in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Diploma students (Mechanical / Electrical) may also apply
• Final-year students or recent pass-outs preferred
• Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Willingness to learn statutory, safety, and quality requirements
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Disciplined, punctual, and eager to learn
• Willing to work in an in-office / plant environment
