Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Conduct in-process quality inspections and audits across various stages of production.
Monitor and analyse process parameters to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Identify non-conformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with CFT teams to resolve quality issues.
Maintain and update quality documentation such as control plans, quality check points, inspection reports, and work instructions.
Support implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Train operators and inspectors on quality standards and inspection techniques.
Participate in internal and external audits (ISO 9001, IATF 16949, customer audits).
Use tools like 7 QC tools, FMEA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis for problem-solving.
Ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.

Skills Required:

Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field).
3–5 years of experience in in-process quality in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS 9001 or other relevant quality standards.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Knowledge of IPC standards (especially for electronics manufacturing).

Must have:

Proficiency in MS Office, and quality tools.
Strong understanding of in-process quality control methods.
Strong analytical and communication skills, Ability to work CFT.

Good to have:

Owner ship and Responsible in the assigned activity.
Exposure to wiring harness or EMS industry.
Exposure to PPAP documentation and APQP processes.
Prior experience in
EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services)
or
automotive
industry.
Experience in Wiring harness conveyor manufacturer line.
