Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Develop a risk-based test strategy, plan test procedures, and author test cases based on PRD, Field Failures and DFMEA documents.
Develop and Maintain Validation Test Plan Motor and Controller systems.
Provide expertise in regulatory compliance.
To prioritize tasks and allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, component owners, product and quality assurance to define test plans and acceptance criteria.

Ideal Candidate

B.E/ B.Tech in EEE/ECE.
3 to 5 years of experience in the validation/testing environment.
Conduct functional and performance tests on BLDC, PMSM or any other motor types.
Measure, Analyze and share feedback on key parameters such as Torque, Speed, Efficiency, Faults and Thermal performance.
Conduct hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and system-level tests to validate motor-controller integration.
Simulate real-world operating conditions for performance and Functionality validation.
Ensure subsystems comply with industry standards.
Solid understanding of the Powertrain system.
Expertise in developing DVPs, giving design feedback, calculating/ developing reliability test profiles, warranty analysis for Motor, Motor controller, Power converters and Embedded systems.
Expertise in identifying risks in the system and feeding them to the CFTs and also suggest mitigation plans.
Experience with using tools like multimeter, DSO, Logic analyzer, Function generator, Dyno test bench and Torque sensor.
Familiar with Algorithm testing and SW testing.
In-depth knowledge of Black box testing, SIL and HIL test platform & automotive communication protocols (e.g. CAN, LIN, Flexray)
