Engineer/ Senior Engineer - Production Planning / Scheduler / PPC

Required Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in

  Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

• 27 years of experience

  in a manufacturing industry
• Strong

  analytical and multitasking

  abilities
• Proficiency in

  Advanced Excel

  ; knowledge of

  SAP

  preferred
• Good understanding of

  planning, scheduling, and inventory control

• Adequate computer skills to perform job-related tasks

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Prepare raw material requirements based on current orders and generate material needs for work orders.
2. Review order status, occupancy, and capacity gaps to determine delivery timelines in coordination with Sales.
3. Evaluate incoming orders and coordinate with Sales for clarifications, forecasting, and customer demand analysis.
4. Implement revision processes for received orders and ensure follow-up with Production and Sales.
5. Prepare weekly/monthly reports such as delay reports and order status summaries for management review.
6. Contribute to daily, weekly, and monthly production and dispatch schedules.
7. Organize production resources and workforce for maximum efficiency; coordinate with production engineers and technicians to ensure adherence to the plan.
8. Monitor production flow from raw material to finished goods and support smooth operations.
9. Collect daily updates from production teams, flag potential delays, highlight issues, and escalate contingencies to management.
10. Create detailed manufacturing plans in coordination with the cross-functional team (CFT).
11. Conduct

    time & motion studies

    for products.
12. Recommend improvements for

    capacity enhancement

    and

    productivity increase

13. Update internal planning software and ensure timely closure of all open order points.
14. Prepare consumption and production data as per actuals and report to the Manager.
15. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Manager.
